How Hawaii temp work actually runs

If you want work

Name, phone, island, how you get around, and the shifts you can take. Night audit is not a banquet. A 5 a.m. Sand Island unload is not a front desk in town. Say what you have done. If you are new, say you are new and which island you can reach.

Oʻahu has the most volume. Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island still hire — write the island or the request dies in the wrong pile.

If you need a person

Role, dates, start time, address, headcount, and the thing that will get someone sent home (shoes, lift, ID, a cert). “ASAP” is not a start time. A licensed staffing partner runs payroll and placement. You get someone who can show up.

Same-week is normal when the role is clear. Same-day depends on the island and the shift.

Is Hawaii Temps a licensed agency?

Payroll and placement are handled by a licensed Hawaii staffing partner. This site is the front door for job seekers and employers.

What happens after I submit the form?

You should get a follow-up on the phone number you left. Keep it on.

Can neighbor islands apply?

Yes. Pick the island on the form. Do not apply as Oʻahu if you cannot get to Oʻahu.

Do you guarantee a placement?

No. We match people and shifts. The partner handles payroll. There is no placement guarantee on a form submit.
